Diplomatic Relations
So in today's devlog, we will talk about the new additions to the game. Firstly, we will talk about producing goods. You can change the percent of goods you produce - increasing your expenses but improving your goods production. If you have a higher population, more goods will be produced even if you don't change the percentage, as having more people will increase the amount you produce. You can use these goods to build new structures in your Kingdom - increasing happiness, income and solider strength.
Trading is the main thing we are focusing on at the moment, as this will be a vital part of the game. You can only trade twice a year (a year is around 90 seconds of game time - this is subject to change), so make sure to choose wisely. Trading is a great way to improve your relationship with another Kingdom. If you get your relationship to a high enough level, you may even be joined when you attack another Kingdom. This will split the rewards, but drastically increase your chances of success. However, if your relationship with another kingdom drops too low, they may put tax on the goods you trade - or just stop trading with you completely. This could lead to your opposition raiding you, lowering your population and goods - or even a full scale invasion.
