Final Devlog (LAUNCH!)

After 2 months of development, the final devlog is here. I have finally finished a project - I set myself a goal to do so before I went away to university to study Game Development. I wanted to complete a small game project that I expect to have 0 commercial success, simply for improvement purposes. Motivating myself was difficult after a month as is common in most of my projects, but I knew that I needed to push through that barrier to find ways of actually having a better conversion rate of starting and finishing a project. Inside the Monarchy is a Kingdom Management Simulator game, available here for £1.00 (or $1.33). You won't find yourself playing for hours, it is a very simple and fun game which could easily be completed in about 20/30 minutes. If you want to support me, this is a great way to do so. https://side-job-studios.itch.io/inside-the-monarchy

So, for the final devlog, I added invading and raiding. I thought this would take me much longer than it actually did, but it was fairly simple and quick. The harder part of this was playing through the game and trying to find every bug and issue I possibly could, making changes and balancing all the way through. I also added a binary save/load system which I have never done before, and this was a great learning curve and a real necessity to learn for any future projects I work on.

Here is the playtesting log.
